Ribon is a monthly Japanese shoujo phone book sized manga magazine by Shueisha. The first issue ever released was August, 1955. Ribon was the magazine that first introduced Full Moon wo Sagashite to the world, and is also known as the Ribon Mascot Comics that helped product the Full Moon manga volumes.

Ribon is responsible for promoting many other well known manga and anime series such as Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, Kodomo no Omocha, GALS! and many more.
