Mizuki is a happy-go lucky girl whose long time idol and love interest is Izumi Sano. After Mizuki left the US, she quickly settled into Ohsaka Gakuen only to discover that Izumi just happened to be her new roommate. With time, the two find themselves in many romantic, yet awkward situations and positions. Mizuki's original goal was to watch Izumi jump with her own eyes, and even after that she desperately wishes to stay by Izumi's side, rather than return to the US with her family. Surprisingly, Mizuki is considered the best short distance runner at Ohsaka Garden. Even against all the full grown men she is still able to beat them all.

Mizuki's father is a passionate veterinarian, married to her mother who helps her father with many chores in the surgery. Mizuki also has a half older brother, who is unlike Mizuki half Japanese and half Anglo-Saxon. He was from Mizuki's father's previous marriage.

The school's doctor, Hakuto, very quickly exposes Mizuki's secret identity as a boy. Fortunately, he is uninterested in revealing Mizuki to anyone else, and in fact decides to help her with anything she needs. He quickly become her confidant, someone she can go to for advice.
