Hanazakari no Kimi Tachi E, also known for short as "Hanakimi" and "For You in Full Blossoms" in English, is a manga series about Ashiya Mizuki. Her story starts back in the United States, when she was at home watching a young Japanese high-jumper competing in a competition for athletes. Upon seeing him soar through the sky, she suddenly felt an urge to meet this high jumper and to see him jump in real-life.

With her mind made up, Mizuki is determined to move to Japan, her home country. She works hard to earn enough money and enrolls herself into the same school, all while learning as much as she can about this high jumper. Finally, with her parents' permission she moved to Japan, although little do they know that her high jumper attends a boys-only school. Mizuki cuts her hair and disguises herself as a male in order to attend Ohsaka Gakuen.

Throughout her stay, Mizuki encounters many embarrassing and exciting events. Her true gender is almost relieved on many occasions, although some how she is able to wiggle her way out of such compromising situations. Complications arise when Mizuki finds herself falling in love with her high jumper, Izumi Sano. Dressed as a guy, she is unsure as to how to express her feelings, and therefore keeps everything to herself.

Mizuki encounters many friends that she soon relies deeply upon and foes she is forced to be aware of. Life can only get more interesting for Mizuki from this point on. Hanakimi is the perfect shoujo manga for many fangirl.
