There is one thing I find very typical about Oujirou, and that is his looks. With one glance, it is evident that this will be Angelic Layer's "bishounen" for the series. The straight, neatly cut hair with a rather long fringe is the dead give away. His dark blue locks fall inches past his steel blue eyes. With a good height, slim build, small waist and long legs, how could his character not be the bishounen for the series?
We typically see Oujirou wearing his school uniform, which is your traditional Japanese school uniform for males. It is of a uniform blue colour, like a business suit, board shoulders, with the trademark high collar. However one interesting feature on Oujirou's uniform is roman numerical symbol for the number three on his collar. I personally see male Japanese school uniforms the same way many see Tuxedos. They can make just about anyone look very handsome and attractive, Oujirou is of course no exception.
At the age of ten, Oujirou also wore another school uniform for those in elementary school. It is similar, yet very different to his current uniform. Still blue, he no longer has the trademark high collar, but instead has what I'll call a "western" collar. His jacket is vest-like, only with long sleeves and his buttons are blue, not yellow. He also wears shorts rather than pants, along with white ankle high socks. Oujirou's casual clothes are just that, very casual and ordinary.
