EARTH STONES Earth Stones are divided into two sub-types, Birthstones and Star Sign Stones. Birthstones are determined by the month each individual is born in, rather than their star sign that is often a misconception by many people. And Star Sign Stones are determined by one's astrology star sign. Information on Oujirou's earth stones can be found below. Note, Oujirou's star sign is actually placed on a cusp, however according to official sources and my own personal opinion, Oujirou's personality is much more suited to that of the Libra, hence only stones concerned with Libras are presented here. Birthstones Tourmaline · Teller" stone - identifying who/what is causing trouble during times of struggle. Thought to bring healing powers to the use and provide protection from all physically danger. Helps to build self confidence and lessens fear. Jasper · Known as the "supreme nurturer", it enhances care for others and was often worn by shamen to provide protection. Also known as "sustaining stone" and useful for extended stays in hospital and when energy is low. Aquamarine · Provides gentle energy, promoting moderation. It highlights compassion and tolerance, and encourages the ability to "always be prepared". Star Sign Stones Lapis Lazuli · A stone of total awareness, friendship and love. Gives self-confidence, expands intellect and intuition. It helps overcome depression and is said to bring sheer to the use and success to relationships. It has also been used as a stone of protection and helps treat insomnia, vertigo and dizziness. Chrysoprase · Thought to assist with fertility. It eases depression, enhances compassion and acceptance of self and others. Aquamarine · Provides gentle energy, promoting moderation. It highlights compassion and tolerance, and encourages the ability to "always be prepared". Chiastolite · Also known as a "Cross-Stone", and was associated in the past with deflection of the "evil eye". It is now used as a sign of devotion, especially to the dispelling of negative energy. It assists in coping with change and problem solving. It assists in both creativity and practicality, balancing one's perspective. Apophyllite · Is used to create a connection between physical and spiritual realms. It can also allow one to see into the future. It stimulates energy and intuition, while also used to clear and refresh the eyes. Bloodstone · Intense healing energy and a stone of courage. Revitalises love, relationships and friendships. Helps to enhance harmony, adaptability and strength. Moonstone · Is the stone for hoping and wishing, feeling and intuition rather than intellect. It is used to alleviate emotional tension and enhance creativity and self-expression. It is used to protect from the perils of travel. Talisman of good fortune. It enhances fertility, aids in easing pregnancy, childbirth and helps ease insomnia. Prehnite · A stone for dreaming and remembering, it advances the state of meditation. It can be used in treatment of kidneys, bladder and connective tissues and gout and anaemic disorders of the blood. It also assists in gardening and agricultural activities, aligning energy to produce abundance and remove disease. Nephrite · It has been used as a talisman of protection by tribal groups in New Zealand, to provide an invisible barrier against attack and illness. It is said to bless that which it touches. It acts to reduce the reactions of the body to stressful situations. Jade · Also known as "dream stone" and "stone of fidelity". It assists in remembering and deciphering dreams. It provides confidence and self-sufficiency. Sunstone · It can be used to both clear and energise the chakras. It reduces fearfulness, alleviates stress and increases vitality. It has been used to encourage independence and originality. In ancient Greece, Sunstone was thought to represent the sun god, bringing life and abundance to those fortunate enough to carry/wear it. It is said to be helpful with chronic sore throats and relief of ulcers. It has been used in treatment of cartilage problems often suffered by athletes. It is used by ancients for rheumatism.
